Field Reimbursement Manager - Houston, TX

Role: Field Reimbursement Manager supporting patient access for Ardelyx’s gastroenterology products. Primary responsibilities include building relationships with providers and patient support programs, educating healthcare providers on prior auth and denials, and addressing access barriers through collaboration with HUBs, specialty pharmacies, and internal teams. The role requires analyzing market dynamics, serving as a subject matter expert on payor landscape, and customizing messaging to navigate insurance and healthcare system complexities. Qualifications: B.A./B.S. with 6-9 years in field reimbursement, patient services, or market access within pharma/biotech; 3-5 years specifically in field reimbursement or access services. Deep knowledge of specialty pharmacy, insurance benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial), and GI provider workflows is preferred. Experience with GI products or providers is advantageous. The position reports to an Associate Director/Director, involves up to 75% travel, and is field-based.
