Responsibilities:
- Provide regional patient access & reimbursement assistance for Crinetics products.
- Conduct office calls with HCPs/office staff to resolve reimbursement, patient programs, and coverage questions.
- Coordinate with patient services to resolve coverage/access/reimbursement issues per policy.
- Educate office staff on Crinetics patient services programs, policies, procedures, and systems.
- Liaise with CrinetiCARE and specialty pharmacies.
- Support internal Sales with coverage/reimbursement leadership.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance patient experience.
- Serve as subject matter expert for reimbursement/access (payer policies, prior auth, denials, appeals, peer-to-peer).
- Provide insights on product/support integration at HCP and hospital pharmacy accounts.
- Conduct quarterly practice reviews of utilization of patient services.
- Create training materials and deliver education to internal/external stakeholders as needed.
- Track access/reimbursement trends and analyze issues/opportunities; maintain knowledge of Crinetics policies and handle PHI appropriately.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelorβs degree + 12+ years healthcare and/or pharma/biotech experience.
- Knowledge in complex/rare diseases; strong written/verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal skills.
- Credibility/persuasion; knowledge of third-party payers and case management (prior auth/appeals).
- Proficiency: iPad; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Time/resource/workload management; adaptability; urgency; strategic + tactical execution; cross-functional teamwork; independent work.
- Live within assigned territory.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- 3β5 years access/reimbursement; CRM and case management systems.
- 2+ years specialty pharmacy network experience; US healthcare policy/payment systems.
- CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS knowledge; site-of-care reimbursement knowledge.
- Experience launching specialty product/indication.
