Job Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Oncology Medical strategy/engagement for assigned customers within a territory, coordinating with other Pfizer colleagues.
- Develop and execute customer-specific medical content and tactics aligned with Oncology Medical Affairs priorities.
- Provide objective, scientifically sound medical and pharmacoeconomic information using tools such as HOPEs, outcomes models, educational programs, and non-interventional studies.
- Lead assigned accounts: serve as Oncology Medical lead, develop/execute medical account plan, share customer insights, and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Integrate clinical, HIT, market, and account considerations to deliver compliant projects, collaborations, strategic partnerships, and outcomes evaluations to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
- Communicate across channels (virtual/in-person presentations, written/phone) and engage stakeholders (payers, managed care, QI orgs, advocacy groups, coalitions).
- Support HIT initiatives (assessment, feasibility, clinical relevance), analyze workflows to reduce care gaps, and support e-data collection.
- Keep abreast of scientific developments; respond to customer requests; provide approved medical content; represent Medical Affairs leadership with professional associations.
- For select high-priority sites, act as a single coordinated Pfizer point of contact to support enrollment/enhancement.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in health science; 10+ years experience (bachelor’s) OR 8+ years (master’s) OR 7+ years (terminal degree).
- Experience in clinical/formulary/management, managed care/QI, and/or data analytics/HEOR with study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize, manage conflict, and demonstrate leadership.
- Ability to travel (including overnight); valid US driver’s license; remote-field based.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary range: $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20%; eligibility for long-term incentive and comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), vacation/leave, medical/dental/vision).
