Role: Field Medical Director (FMD) responsible for scientific engagement and education of healthcare professionals on ImmunityBio’s immunotherapy products and pipeline. Responsibilities include serving as a primary clinical/scientific resource to KOLs and HCPs, facilitating scientific exchanges, supporting research initiatives, and developing medical territory plans. The role also involves supporting clinical trial activities, professional organization collaboration, and health economics/outcomes studies. Requirements: Advanced medical/scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA), minimum 8 years of therapeutic expertise in oncology, immunology, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a field-facing medical role such as an MSL. Clinical trial experience and knowledge of treatment guidelines, FDA regulations, and medical communications are essential. Preferred: Solid tumor experience, particularly GU and lung cancers. Skills include strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, and proficiency with standard software tools. High-value specifics: Oncology/immunotherapy focus, clinical trial involvement, therapeutic expertise in solid tumors, and a significant travel requirement (~50%). The position is field-based, requiring residence within the assigned territory, with travel including domestic and international sites.
