Field Director, GU Oncology - South Central

Role: Lead and manage a regional GU Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team to support scientific, clinical, and educational activities for Johnson & Johnson's oncology products, with a focus on customer engagement, insight collection, and compliance. Responsibilities: develop regional strategies, oversee team performance, coach staff, execute field medical programs (including product launches), and ensure high-quality scientific engagement. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and commercial partners to inform strategy, support evidence generation, and translate insights into regional actions. Lead team training, talent development, and succession planning, promoting diversity and inclusion. Maintain scientific expertise in oncology (particularly GU cancers), stay current with disease states, and ensure compliant, effective interactions. Manage performance metrics, coordinate special projects, and represent the team in internal initiatives. Qualifications: master’s degree required; PharmD, PhD, MD preferred; minimum 8 years in pharmaceuticals or related industry, including 2+ years as an MSL or similar role; clinical/research experience preferred. Must reside within assigned region, with approximately 60% travel, including overnight stays, to cover territory in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi.
