Role: Field Director for GU Oncology leading a regional Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team, responsible for scientific, clinical, and educational support to healthcare professionals, ensuring compliant and insight-driven engagement aligned with medical strategies. Responsibilities: develop and execute regional medical strategies, coach and manage MSLs, oversee field activities including product launches and stakeholder interactions, and coordinate cross-functional projects. Maintain high scientific and soft skill standards within the team, analyze medical insights to inform evidence generation, and lead regional scientific initiatives. Collaborate with internal partners and serve as a scientific leader in the field, ensuring team performance and compliance with regulations. Qualifications: minimum of a master’s degree (PharmD, PhD, MD preferred), 8+ years in pharma, including 2+ years in MSL or similar roles; clinical/research experience preferred; previous management experience desirable. High-value specifics: focus on oncology, specifically GU cancers; regional travel (~60%), including national scientific congresses; proficiency in data analysis, strategic planning, and emerging technologies such as AI. Work setup: regional travel required, based in the South Central US, close to an airport.
