Field Director, Dermatology - Central

Role: Lead and manage a regional Dermatology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team within Johnson & Johnson’s Immunology division, focusing on scientific, clinical, and educational support for current and future dermatology products. Responsibilities include developing regional strategies, coaching and developing MSLs, executing field medical programs, and ensuring compliant, impactful scientific engagement with healthcare professionals. The role involves translating medical and TA strategy into measurable objectives, analyzing data and insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform product lifecycle strategies. Key tasks encompass team performance management, talent development, ensuring scientific credibility, and supporting product launches and proactive initiatives. Qualifications: Master’s degree (PhD, MD, PharmD preferred), minimum 8 years in pharma, with at least 2 years in MSL or related roles; previous people management experience is a plus. Technical skills include data analysis, clinical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning. Preferred: experience in dermatology, immunology, clinical research, and familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies. The position requires regional travel (~60%) across the Central territory, including occasional overnight stays, and proximity to an airport. The role reports to the MSL Head and involves collaboration with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and commercial partners to drive scientific excellence, compliance, and organizational impact.
