Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist

Role: Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist, supporting sales and customer technical needs for immunoassay platforms (Simple Plex Ella, Luminex) in the Metro New York area. Responsibilities: deliver pre- and post-sales assay development support, troubleshoot and optimize immunoassays, present scientific seminars, support product evaluations at customer sites, participate in conferences, gather customer feedback, train scientists on instrument use and data analysis, foster customer relationships, and contribute to technical literature and CRM updates. Requirements: BS/BA in biochemistry, bioengineering, or related life sciences; minimum 5 years hands-on immunoassay experience; excellent communication, troubleshooting, training, and presentation skills. Preferred: MS/PhD and prior FAS experience. High-Value: expertise in immunoassays, protein analysis, and platform workflows; ability to travel up to 50%; territory-based in NY/NJ with willingness to relocate if outside the region; technical support for research applications and customer training.
