General Summary:
As the Field Analytics and Reporting Associate Director, support field analytics for current and upcoming product launches. Collaborate on strategy, design, roadmap planning, delivery, and adoption of analytics across field roles in the Strategic Customer Engagement Team (Field Account Managers, Regional/Area Managers, Strategic Account Leads, Virtual Field Representatives). Serve as a key member of Business Unit Analytical Support, analyzing prescription data (Hospital/Retail/Claims), field activity, and related channels; communicate findings and recommendations to leadership. Partner with Business Units (Market Access, Marketing, Forecasting, Marketing Science) and North America Field Operations (Incentive Compensation, Targeting & Alignments, Data Management).
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Point person for field reporting business needs, system requirements, and development oversight for field, field management, and HQ users
- Create roadmaps, timelines, and deployment plans with IT and vendors
- Develop mock-ups and support Power BI application updates/enhancements
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for BU and field leadership
- Design/construct/roll out analytical dashboards for real-time field analytics
- Understand data warehouse models; recommend best practices/optimizations
- Ensure proper data definitions, business rules, and warehouse structure for ongoing/ad hoc analytics
- Monitor field performance, inquiries, KPIs, and feedback to identify training/communications opportunities
- Liaise with Field Operations to incorporate deliverables/timelines into field planning
- Identify risks/barriers and propose solutions based on feedback/KPI observations
- Support sales leaders on gaps in buy-in/accountability/performance
Knowledge And Skills:
- Hands-on analytics in Snowflake and Power BI
- Communicate results and complex insights to leadership
- Pharma sales operations proficiency (CRM, customer data, sales data, field reporting, incentive compensation)
- Strong project management; lead multiple priorities
- Experience driving field adoption and measuring impact
- Manage internal partners and external vendors
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry
Education And Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree; 8+ years in pharmaceutical analytics
- 3+ years delivering complex pharma product launch analytics
