Field Access Manager (FAM) - Southern California

Role: Field Access Manager supporting patient access in the Southern California territory, including Hawaii, Alaska, and parts of Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Responsibilities: proactively identify and resolve reimbursement and access barriers, partner with healthcare providers, HUB vendors, specialty pharmacies, and payers to streamline patient access, analyze payer and HUB data to address systemic gaps, support launch and lifecycle management, monitor key access metrics, and ensure compliant documentation. Requirements: bachelor's degree in healthcare, life sciences, or related field; 10+ years in pharmaceutical reimbursement, patient access, or market access roles; deep understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization processes, and specialty pharmacy models; experience with HUB systems and reimbursement data sources; strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills; proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office; familiarity with BI tools a plus. High-value specifics: extensive experience in specialty pharmacy and payer engagement, supporting complex reimbursement cases, with a focus on cardiovascular therapies or similar therapeutic areas. Work setup: field-based with travel across the territory, ideally residing within 100 miles of a major airport.
