Field Access Manager (FAM) - Southeast

Role: Field Access Manager supporting patient access in the Southeast territory (Alabama, Georgia, Northern Florida) for a cardiovascular biopharma focusing on muscle biology and cardiac dysfunction. Responsibilities: proactively identify and resolve reimbursement and access barriers related to payer coverage, prior authorization, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing; collaborate with healthcare providers, HUB vendors, and internal teams; analyze payer data to address systemic access issues; monitor key access metrics; and support launch and lifecycle management initiatives. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, or related field; 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical reimbursement, patient access, or market access support; strong understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, and specialty pharmacy models; skilled in resolving complex access cases, with proficiency in HUB systems and data sources. Preferred: experience training sales teams on access topics, familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. High-Value: extensive payer and reimbursement expertise, field-based role, high-growth environment, and territory management. Work setup: field-based, requires travel within the territory, ideally residing within 100 miles of a major airport.
