Field Access Manager (FAM) - Mid South

Role: Field Access Manager supporting patient access within the Mid South territory (Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina) for a cardiovascular biopharma company. Responsibilities: proactively identify and resolve reimbursement and access barriers related to payer coverage, prior authorization, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing; collaborate with healthcare providers, HUB vendors, and internal teams to optimize access strategies; analyze payer and HUB data to address systemic gaps; monitor key access metrics and manage high-priority reimbursement cases; ensure compliance and accurate documentation; provide payer landscape insights to inform strategic decisions. Requirements: bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, or related field; 10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical reimbursement, patient access, HUB services, or market access; strong knowledge of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, and specialty pharmacy models; proficiency with HUB systems, case management platforms, and claims data; excellent problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Preferred: experience supporting field sales teams and familiarity with BI tools.
