Field Access Manager (FAM) - Mid Central

Role: Field Access Manager supporting patient access and reimbursement strategies within the Mid Central territory (Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky) for a cardiovascular biopharma focusing on muscle biology and cardiac dysfunction. Responsibilities: proactively identify and resolve access barriers related to payer coverage, prior authorization, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing; collaborate with healthcare providers, patient support, HUB vendors, and payers; analyze payer and HUB data to improve access processes; monitor key access metrics; support launch readiness and lifecycle management; document activities in CRM; serve as a subject matter expert on access. Requirements: bachelor's degree in healthcare, life sciences, or business; 10+ years in pharmaceutical reimbursement, patient access, or market access roles; deep understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior auth workflows, and specialty pharmacy distribution; experience with HUB systems, case management, and claims data; strong problem-solving and communication skills; proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office; field-based role with extensive travel within the territory.
