Field Access Manager (FAM) - Gulf Coast

Role: Field Access Manager supporting Cytokinetics' cardiovascular pipeline in the Gulf Coast territory (Eastern Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi). Responsibilities: proactively identify and resolve patient access barriers related to payer coverage, prior authorization, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing; collaborate with healthcare providers, HUB vendors, and internal teams to optimize access processes; analyze data to address systemic gaps; monitor access metrics and manage escalations; ensure compliance and accurate documentation; provide access education to internal stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, sciences, or business; 10+ years in pharmaceutical reimbursement, patient access, HUB services, or market access, with deep knowledge of payer dynamics, reimbursement workflows, and specialty pharmacy models. Skills: strong problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, and data analysis abilities; experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and BI tools preferred. High-value: extensive experience in specialty pharmacy and reimbursement, knowledge of cardiovascular or related therapeutic areas, field-based role with significant travel within the territory. Work setup: field-based with travel throughout the Gulf Coast territory; residence within 100 miles of a major airport preferred.
