About the role
- Join Takeda as the Field Access Manager supporting the dermatology portfolio across the Nashville territory.
How you will contribute
- Optimize Patient Access: Serve as an educational resource for providers to navigate reimbursement and patient access challenges for timely access.
- Proactive Education and Support: Deliver tailored, field-based reimbursement education to provider group practices, hospitals, academic institutions, specialty pharmacies, and other stakeholders; anticipate and address access challenges.
- Strategic Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations to identify and resolve reimbursement and patient access issues.
- Enhance Team Capabilities: Educate and support internal teams on complex reimbursement and patient access scenarios.
- Adaptability and Insight: Monitor healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and regulatory requirements to proactively address patient access challenges.
Education, Skills, and Competencies
Required
- Bachelorโs Degree.
- 5+ years field-based experience in account management, sales, or medical affairs.
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement landscape and practice management environment.
- Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies to drive patient access outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in account management, relationship development, and issue resolution.
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Desired
- 5+ years in patient services or reimbursement roles (pharma/biotech/rare disease).
- MBA or advanced degree; healthcare policy/reimbursement/market access experience.
- Familiarity with buy-and-bill and pharmacy models.
- Experience with specialty/high-cost therapies.
- Experience in Dermatology.
Location and Travel Requirements
- Field-based; up to 75% travel.
- Must be located within the territory.
- Driverโs license required.
Compensation and Benefits Summary (role location: Nashville, TN)
- U.S. base salary range: $152,000.00 - $209,000.00.
- Eligible for incentives and may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and well-being benefits.
