Role Responsibilities (Patient Access, Account Management, Business & People Leadership)
- Serve as main point of contact for patient access; execute compliant strategies to improve access to Pfizer approved therapies.
- Identify pathways to higher patient access and address access/reimbursement challenges across a defined territory (focused on multi-provider specialty groups, IDNs, hospital systems, integrated pharmacy delivery networks).
- Provide payer policy education locally/regionally/nationally: coverage policy; prior authorization/utilization management; medical exceptions; documentation/appeals; new-to-market access; HUB/affordability programs; patient case management.
- Manage proactive accounts and reactive escalations; analyze local insurance environment to meet patient access objectives.
- Develop integrated account team (IAT) business plans and align internal stakeholders/decision makers to ensure compliant, effective results.
- Share local market insights and scale market access best practices related to evolving payer policies.

Qualifications
- 7+ years pharmaceutical industry experience (sales and/or coding, access and reimbursement); reimbursement/access strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of specialty drug reimbursement, Medicare/government payment systems, provider/carrier networks, and co-pay assistance.
- B.S. or B.A. required.
- Exceptional communication/presentation, strategic planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and follow compliance guidelines.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Thorough payer policy process knowledge and ability to communicate technical payer prescription approval elements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Additional coding/reimbursement certification; coding/billing knowledge a plus.

- Work location: Remote – Field Based; Territory: primarily Northern Indiana with some Chicago area and Southern Michigan.
- Base salary range: $139,100–$231,900; bonus target: 17.5%; eligible for long-term incentives; benefits include 401(k) with matching and additional retirement contribution, paid time off, leave, and medical/dental/vision.
