Family Support Educator, Lead - West

Role: The Family Support Educator - Lead is a field-based leadership position responsible for guiding and supporting a team of Family Support Educators serving Rett syndrome families. Objectives include ensuring effective disease state and product education, therapy management, and fostering collaboration across stakeholders. Responsibilities encompass leading team performance, executing strategic initiatives, managing escalations, providing expert insights on disease and product support programs, developing training, and establishing relationships with advocacy groups. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in pharmaceutical sales, access, or related healthcare fields, with at least 3 years in leadership; expertise in rare diseases, advocacy, Medicaid/Medicare, and new product launches is preferred. Core skills required involve team leadership, patient-centric communication, market access knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. The role demands up to 70% travel and involves physical activities typical of field-based positions. The focus is on underserved neurological and rare disease communities, particularly Rett syndrome and other neurodegenerative disorders, emphasizing collaboration with sales, medical, marketing, and advocacy teams.
