Position Summary: Field-based lead for a team of Family Support Educators (FSEs) supporting Rett families with on-label clinical, disease-state, and product education. Provide expert leadership, alignment, and collaboration to meet FSE objectives. Up to 70% travel.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead FSEs to educate on disease state, product, and therapy management.
- Execute strategic/tactical initiatives.
- Serve as primary escalation point for FSE issues; partner with Regional Directors, National Sales Director, AIR, MSL, and Case Management/Hub leadership.
- Provide expert insights to internal stakeholders to address educational gaps and improve disease-state and therapy-management resources for families/caregivers.
- Use deep knowledge of disease state, product, and Acadia Customer Support Programs (e.g., Hub, Patient Assistance Programs, ambassador speaker programs).
- Build relationships with local/regional/national advocacy groups.
- Identify education messaging needs and drive compliant plans with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Rare Disease National Director to train/onboard new FSEs, design Patient Support Services initiatives, evolve the FSE team, and develop performance metrics.
- Mentor, hire/manage, and handle performance/promotion decisions in compliance with company policies.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; 8 years relevant experience (Pharma sales/access/National Accounts/specialty pharmacy/nursing), access & reimbursement expertise; MBA plus.
- 3+ years recent leadership experience.
- Rare disease, new product launch, advocacy, Medicaid/Medicare expertise strongly preferred.

- Organizational/time management; market access and patient services/commercial & government plans knowledge.
- New product launch success; field healthcare understanding.
- HIPAA knowledge; strong written/verbal/presentation skills.
- Budget/expense management; adaptability to change.
- Cross-functional communication and successful collaboration.
- Travel up to 70%; meet third-party and vaccination requirements.

Physical Requirements: Regular standing/walking/sitting; independent remote work and travel; occasional lifting/moving up to 20 lbs; after-hours work as needed.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated): $168,000–$210,000 base; discretionary bonus and equity.
