Position Summary
Responsible for driving sales and developing business in an assigned long-term care (LTC) territory. Manage relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, facility decision-makers, and the LTC care team to identify, start, and maintain appropriate patients on therapy.

Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with LTC resident care teams (physicians, NP/PA, consultant/dispensing pharmacists, nursing leadership/staff).
- Promote Acadia products with compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and objections using advanced selling skills.
- Use customer/practice and local/regional market insights to plan business.
- Create and execute quarterly territory business/action plans to maximize reach and impact within budget.
- Guide pricing/reimbursement and LTC profitability parameters; liaise on access questions.
- Collaborate with sales management, teammates, and cross-functional partners.
- Represent the company at conferences, product launches, and training; contribute to initiatives.
- Mentor/train new Sales Specialists; maintain regulatory and LTC compliance.

Knowledge & Expertise
- Neuroscience and LTC market/payer systems knowledge (Part A, Part D), specialty distribution, LTC regulations.
- Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Zoom/WebEx).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (life sciences preferred).
- Sales Specialist: 1–2 years pharma/healthcare sales (neuroscience preferred).
- Sr. Specialist: 5 years healthcare sales (2+ complex/account-based).
- Executive Specialist: 12 years healthcare sales (3+ complex/account-based).
- Advanced negotiation/selling; regional leadership/mentorship; business acumen.
- Reside in territory (or within 30 miles). Valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 80%.
