In This Role, a Typical Day Might Include
The Executive Director, Worldwide Operations Office serves as the single point of accountability for Regeneron’s global-to-local pharmacovigilance model, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across regions and countries.

Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional US and International teams to embed a patient safety mindset across global operations.
- Provide functional oversight of WWOO and regional PV Hubs (operational performance, quality standards, regulatory compliance, consistent global process application).
- Define execution scope for regional PV Hubs, including localization vs. centralized global processes, and delineate responsibilities between GPS and affiliate teams.
- Establish governance framework for local process adaptation to meet local regulatory requirements.
- Develop innovative approaches integrating new technologies, including AI.
- Aggregate regional and country insights/risks to shape and prioritize PV system objectives.
- Coordinate across key GPS functions (e.g., QPPV, Case Management, Quality & Compliance).
- Adapt the international model to changing business needs, including assessing need for additional PV Hubs.
- Build, coach, and scale a high-performing team; drive succession planning and talent pipelines.
- Lead talent strategy and leadership development.
- Influence cross-functional leaders to align priorities and drive enterprise results.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, MS, or MBA) preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
- 17+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance and international operations in life sciences.
- 7+ years in leadership roles managing international/multi-regional operations.
- Ability to develop relationships and influence decision-making with GPS and non-GPS functions and senior stakeholders.
- Strong PV compliance, inspection readiness, and quality oversight background across multiple markets.
- Strategic mindset translating regional complexity into clear governance and executive insights.
- Preferred: AI technology experience.
