Executive Director, Pharmaceutical Development, Small Molecule

Role: Executive Director, Pharmaceutical Development for Small Molecules, leading strategic direction and operational execution within CMC to advance small molecule pipelines from early development through commercialization. Responsibilities: oversee formulation, drug product development, process validation, manufacturing readiness, and CMC innovation; develop and execute global regulatory strategies; foster external collaborations; drive innovation in formulation technologies and manufacturing approaches; build and develop high-performing teams; establish performance metrics. Requirements: PhD with 10+ years or MS with 12+ years, or BS with 15+ years in pharmaceutical CMC, with extensive experience in formulation sciences, process development, regulatory strategy, and commercialization of solid oral and liquid dosage forms. High-value: small molecule pipeline, formulation and process development, manufacturing sciences, cGxP, ICH, and regulatory submissions (IND, NDA/MAA). Work setup: fully remote with ~25% travel; collaborative with Discovery, Clinical Development, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams.
