Executive Director, Oncology Business Unit, Strategy

Role: Executive Director, Oncology Business Unit (OBU) Strategy at AstraZeneca, leading the development and execution of integrated oncology strategies to advance an innovative pipeline and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities: shape tumor and indication strategies, provide strategic insights to senior leadership, serve as the primary contact for tumor portfolio management, lead market research and forecasting, produce pipeline forecasts, ensure process governance, and influence cross-functional enterprise teams. Requirements: Master's degree or MBA; over 10 years of experience in pharma, consulting, or research with extensive oncology expertise; strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills; scientific background; adept at influencing senior stakeholders without authority; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: PhD in life sciences; experience in strategic planning, multiple geographies, and understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory, and market dynamics.
