Position Summary:
Executive Director, Managed Markets (field-based; preference near a major U.S. airport). Lead Managed Markets functions—account management, marketing, contracting, and product access—to drive optimized market performance and execute channel strategies across National Accounts and Federal channels.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead Managed Markets commercial strategy to optimize profitable access and revenue growth.
- Set annual business plans, revenue targets, and key account priorities; refine execution.
- Own performance management (share/profitability tracking) and drive messaging/tactics to optimize results.
- Partner with Marketing/Commercial to translate brand strategy into managed care/product strategies and promotional programs.
- Develop pricing and contracting strategies; lead contracting lifecycle (negotiation, approvals, execution, implementation).
- Drive access initiatives and pull-through programs to improve reimbursement, awareness, and uptake.
- Monitor channel/customer performance; support product launches with access and market share accountability.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Finance); oversee external vendors; manage systems to track account activity/formulary access/market share.
- Lead, develop, and mentor team; represent organization internally/externally; ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience (Requirements/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing/Health Care/Business Admin or related); Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years progressively responsible sales/marketing/managed markets; 8+ years directly responsible in managed care.
- 3+ years provider contracting/negotiations (commercial and public plans); 3+ years retail pharmacy.
- 6+ years leadership.

Key Skills:
- Strategy execution; product launches; reimbursement/clinical coding/terminology; managed contract language.
- Relationships with managed care/government executives and KOLs; team-building/leadership.
- Analytical, planning, negotiation; account management software; strong English communication.
- Negotiate/influence senior leaders; travel overnight ~30%.
