Role: Executive Director, Head of Litigation at a global biopharmaceutical company, leading enterprise litigation strategy and operations. Responsibilities: oversee global litigation, disputes, and government investigations (excluding IP); develop scalable processes for matter intake, assessment, and resolution; advise senior leadership and the Board on legal risks, exposures, and compliance; manage outside counsel, vendors, and litigation budgets; implement and optimize legal workflows involving e-discovery, document management, and governance; coordinate cross-border investigations; and monitor industry legal developments for risk mitigation. Requirements: JD from an ABA-accredited law school, admitted in good standing in the U.S.; approximately 15 years of experience advising on complex litigation and investigations within highly regulated environments, preferably including both law firm and in-house roles at a public company; deep expertise in commercial disputes, government investigations, securities, employment, and civil enforcement; strong knowledge of e-discovery, legal technology, and analytics; leadership skills in managing external vendors and cross-functional teams; excellent judgment, communication, and strategic thinking.
