Role: Executive Director, Global Patient Safety Sciences, Rare Disease, overseeing safety strategy and medical safety opinion for portfolio including clinical and post-marketed drugs. Responsibilities: provide senior safety expertise, lead safety signal evaluations, review benefit-risk assessments, develop innovative safety approaches leveraging AI, and represent GPS in governance meetings; build and develop a high-performing team and drive organizational talent strategies. Requirements: MD, PA, PhD, or PharmD; 17+ years in pharmacovigilance or clinical pharma experience; 6+ years of leadership and team management; experience with global safety strategy, regulatory safety documents, and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred: Board certification, MBA, international pharma experience, proficiency with AI technologies.
