Position Summary
The Executive Director, E2E Supply & Demand Planning, is responsible for establishing and governing the integrated supply chain plan across all planning horizons (long-range, mid-term, short-term) for Drug Product and Vector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and govern end-to-end network planning (LTSP, S&OP, S&OE).
- Own and maintain the network plan of record for drug product and vector supply.
- Establish and continuously improve integrated planning processes, governance, and standards.
- Lead consensus demand planning with Commercial, Clinical, and Finance teams.
- Translate demand into feasible supply, capacity, inventory, and execution plans.
- Own network supply plan development, maintenance, and execution.
- Lead vector supply planning and inventory management strategies.
- Establish capacity planning strategies and target utilization levels.
- Drive supply/demand scenario planning and evaluate risks/opportunities/tradeoffs.
- Proactively identify, assess, and communicate supply/demand risks and opportunities.
- Lead monthly S&OP and S&OE processes.
- Set and monitor network performance targets (TAT, capacity utilization, inventory health, service levels, patient delivery).
- Own TAT planning target process and monitor adherence.
- Partner with Global Supply Chain and CTDO leadership to align decisions and resolve constraints.
- Champion operational excellence, planning transformation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, IT, Procurement.
- Champion digital transformation using AI and advanced analytics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree (Supply Chain/Engineering/Life Sciences or related); MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years progressive leadership in global supply chain planning/operations; biopharmaceutical or cell therapy experience.
- Expertise in network planning, demand management, scenario planning, and S&OP.
- Proven cross-functional leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong analytics and advanced planning systems experience.
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building.
- Foundational knowledge of AI/analytics/emerging technologies.
