Role Description
The Executive Director of Data Management, Analytics, and Architecture will lead the strategy for commercial and G&A data capabilities at Regeneron, transforming enterprise data into trusted insights that drive business performance and operational excellence. Partners with Digital & Technology leaders and senior executives to establish scalable data architecture, analytics, and governance standards across the organization. Primary executive spokesperson for data management, analytics, and architecture across Commercial and G&A functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and other corporate departments).

What You’ll Lead
- Own and execute the multi-year data management, analytics, AI, and enterprise data architecture strategy for Commercial and G&A.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Deliver trusted data platforms, analytics products, and self-service capabilities.
- Establish enterprise-wide data governance, stewardship, quality, lifecycle management, and master data standards.
- Modernize and simplify the data ecosystem via cloud platforms, integration strategies, architecture standards, and executive reporting.
- Advance AI/ML/automation and responsible AI practices; manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Drive measurable business outcomes (data quality, adoption, automation, efficiency, productivity, standardization).
- Oversee vendor partnerships, data security, architecture governance, and value realization.

What You Bring
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field required; MS/PhD/MBA preferred.
- 17+ years progressive leadership in data management, data architecture, analytics, or BI (enterprise-scale); life sciences/biotech/regulated industry a plus.
- Deep command of modern data management/analytics/enterprise architecture (BI, cloud data platforms, governance, modeling, MDM).
- Experience establishing enterprise data governance frameworks and reference architecture standards.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML/agentic AI, model risk, responsible AI practices, monitoring/validation/lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with AI/data regulatory and risk frameworks (e.g., GxP, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001) plus.
- Partnering experience with Legal, Compliance, Security, Privacy on data/AI risk and audit readiness.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, translate data into business outcomes, and attract top talent.
