Executive Director, Corporate Communications

Role: Senior leader responsible for developing and executing Ocular Therapeutix's corporate communications strategy to enhance reputation, support business objectives, and manage internal and external messaging. Responsibilities: advise executive leadership, shape corporate narrative, oversee media relations, crisis communications, and executive messaging; lead internal communications to engage employees; collaborate with Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal, and other functions; build external stakeholder relationships; establish measurement frameworks; manage communications team and external agencies; monitor evolving media and digital trends. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or related field; 12+ years in corporate communications or public relations, with significant experience advising C-suite executives; proven success in developing enterprise-level strategies within biotech or pharma, preferably including product launches; strong leadership in high-performing teams; exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills; sound judgment and discretion; strategic thinking with business acumen; ability to operate under pressure in fast-paced environments; up to 30% travel.
