Exec Director, Corporate Strategy & Projects

Role: Executive Director leading components of Gilead's enterprise strategy and managing a portfolio of high-priority strategic initiatives to influence long-term company direction. Responsibilities: develop and own strategic questions from framing to execution, partnering with senior leadership; shape enterprise strategy through scenario analysis; oversee cross-functional initiatives with complex impact; serve as a thought partner to executive teams and Board; mentor strategy talent and foster an enterprise-wide strategic mindset. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 16+ years (or advanced degree and 14+ years) in corporate strategy, management consulting, or related fields; deep understanding of biotech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare sectors; experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and influencing senior decision-makers. Preferred: expertise in biopharma/healthcare, proven track record in managing cross-functional strategic initiatives, strong systems-thinking, and executive communication skills.
