Operations
Shift: A1 Shift (7am–7:30pm Sunday–Tuesday & every other Wednesday)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and at the end of each shift.
- Assist with environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely and following plant/department safety policies.
- Perform all assigned duties according to departmental SOPs and cGMPs.
- Stay current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised, and new SOPs related to the job and department.
- Complete and remain current with required cGMP and safety training.
- Perform maintenance and repairs of production/packaging equipment to support on-time delivery with minimal downtime.
- Assist with setup and changeovers of production/packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce/eliminate defects, rejects, or equipment downtime.
- Complete required documentation for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced mechanics to ensure PMs, line setup, and changeovers meet established requirements.
Qualifications:
- Two-year Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance/related fields with 2–3 years industrial maintenance experience in mechanical/electrical repairs; OR High School diploma/GED with 3–5 years such experience.
- Technical skills: mastery in electrical & mechanical troubleshooting; proficiency in maintenance methods; proficiency with multiple types of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Preferred: experience in a cGMP or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
