Working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday; 7pm–7:30am.
Perform maintenance to support production goals while meeting quality and safety requirements. Diagnose production/packaging equipment to determine repair needs; complete timely repairs and required documentation in accordance with cGMPs and department SOPs. Maintain equipment functionality through the preventative maintenance program.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, organized work area each shift.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety policies.
- Perform duties per departmental SOPs and cGMPs; stay current on relevant SOP updates.
- Complete required cGMP and safety training.
- Repair/maintain production/packaging equipment to minimize downtime and support on-time customer delivery.
- Assist with equipment setup and changeovers.
- Troubleshoot equipment; coordinate corrective actions to reduce defects, rejects, and downtime.
- Complete documentation for repair/maintenance.
- Guide/train less experienced mechanics for PMs and line set-up/changeovers.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance/related field + 2–3 years industrial maintenance (mechanical/electrical) OR high school/GED + 3–5 years.
- Mastery in electrical & mechanical troubleshooting; proficient maintenance methods and industrial equipment.
- cGMP/FDA-regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills/Abilities: detail-oriented; mechanical/electrical troubleshooting; read manuals/schematics; English communication; Windows/Microsoft Office basics; physical capability to stand/walk and lift up to 40 lbs (men) / 35 lbs (women).
