Role Summary

Environmental, Health & Safety Co-op for Spring 2026. Learn and support EHS activities within the biotechnology industry, collaborating with laboratory, manufacturing and facilities personnel to understand chemical use, process safety, and EHS program management in a GMP life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• General support of the EHS team and execution of key projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and control environmental and physical hazards in the workplace.
• Assist in managing environmental aspects and implementing risk controls.
• Learn about oligonucleotide processing and support manufacturing process systems in a GMP/high-throughput lab setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an EHS-related bachelor‚Äôs or master‚Äôs degree program at an accredited college/university (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or related science disciplines).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong Windows OS background.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take direction to resolve incidents quickly and effectively.
• Ability to complete routine tasks independently over time, developing functional, technical, and problem-solving skills.
