Your Responsibilities:
- Own finance master data as the primary SME, ensuring overall quality and governance.
- Define and document critical data elements, business rules, and standards in the enterprise data catalogue.
- Monitor data quality, establish quality rules/metrics, and lead root-cause analysis to resolve data issues.
- Establish review/approval process for data access requests in your domain, aligned to governance and security standards.
- Triage and manage data-related issues with producers/consumers to drive timely remediation.
- Oversee data lifecycle for critical assets (creation/acquisition through usage, archival, disposal) including retention and regulatory compliance.
- Promote data literacy and advocate for data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to Data Council/Data Governance Committee representing your domain’s needs and enterprise impact.
- Help design/evolve data architecture by translating business requirements into data model and integration specifications.
- Define and track KPIs to demonstrate business value of data quality and architecture improvements.
- Stay current on best practices and emerging technologies; recommend solutions to enhance data capabilities.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Information Systems/Data/Process or related field.
- 8+ years’ experience in a relevant business function (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain).
- Strong foundation in data governance (data quality, metadata management, stewardship).
- Experience with data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra) and data quality management software.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to identify root causes.
- Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills; influence stakeholders across business and IT.
- Highly organized attention to detail; process-improvement mindset.
- Data-driven attitude; foundational data architecture knowledge (data modeling, integration patterns, data platforms).
- Ability to resolve data discrepancies and escalate complex issues appropriately.
