Enterprise Architect Director

Role: The Director, IT – Enterprise Architect leads the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy at Neurocrine Biosciences, aligning IT investments with business goals across research, drug development, manufacturing, quality, and commercial functions. Responsibilities include defining current and target-state architectures, establishing standards, governance, and roadmaps, and providing strategic guidance on solution design for core enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and data platforms. The role involves assessing business capabilities, managing technology integration strategies, and ensuring compliance with GxP and data integrity regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; 12+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in enterprise architecture; proven leadership in complex, cross-functional programs; expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure), API management, and enterprise middleware; experience with AI, automation, and portfolio modernization. Preferred: Master’s degree and experience in biotech or pharma digital transformation initiatives.
