Engineer III based in Lexington, MA. Full-time role with up to 20% remote work.
Responsibilities
Independently carry out bioreactor operations across scales from 250 ml to 10 L.
Prepare experimental protocols and support tech transfer of developed cell culture processes to pilot and manufacturing facilities.
Design experiments, interpret data, identify complex technical issues, and implement solutions under supervision.
Contribute to technical reports by writing and consolidating technical documents; participate in cross-functional projects.
Support process development, optimization, characterization, troubleshooting, large-scale studies, and project goals.
Support technology transfer through documentation, batch record reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
Contribute to evaluation of new technology/equipment applicable across programs.
Document data per company guidelines; draft technical reports, memos, procedures, protocols, and presentations; present to department and project teams.
Execute bioreactor operations, clarifications, and purification using high-throughput systems (e.g., AMBR250, Tecan).
Qualifications
Required: Masterโรรดs degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related Pharmaceutical Science.
Required: Experience executing bioreactor operations, primary clarification, and purification using high-throughput systems (e.g., AMBR250, Tecan); design experiments to assess and optimize process performance; interpret data and implement solutions.
Required: Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support tech transfer to Pilot, Manufacturing, and external CDMOs; author and revise technical documents including SOPs and development reports.
Required: Cross-training team members on analytical instruments and techniques; conduct product quality testing using tools such as Solo-VPE, Lunatic, HPLC, UPLC, and UV spectrophotometer.
Education
