Operations
Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain facility electrical systems: reset circuit breakers; replace lamps and ballasts; service light sensors/switches; change receptacles; troubleshoot electrical circuits (shorts, opens, faults).
- Install, modify, maintain, and repair high- and low-voltage electrical wiring and equipment (outlets, air distribution systems, pumps, transformers, motors, streetlights, appliances); respond to work orders.
- Install/service high-horsepower motors, coils, transformers, control equipment; use specialized tools for electrical system installation and repair.
- Install and maintain control systems and devices supporting 24-hour operations.
- Record preventive maintenance documentation and track effectiveness.
- Design functional electrical circuitry and create single-line diagrams.
- Provide on-the-job training to junior/subordinate team members.
- Improve operations by reducing turnaround time and improving workflow efficiency.
- On-call electrician for emergency service requests outside regular hours.
Qualifications:
- High School or GED (required).
- 3+ years in electrical construction and/or facility electrical experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the NEC and applicable OSHA standards.
- Proficient with wire color coding; hands-on experience with 277/480V and 120/208/240V systems.
- Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant respirator fit test (additional requirement).
Compensation/Benefits:
- $29.00–$32.00 per hour base salary.
