Electrical Engineer

Role Summary

Electrical Engineer based in Swiftwater, PA, responsible for developing and executing site programs related to electrical reliability and sustainability in alignment with Sanofi Planet Care strategies and site business needs. Works under the Site Sustainability Lead to support electrical infrastructure reliability, day-to-day troubleshooting, design calculations, and documentation across the Swiftwater site.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems: serve as the life-cycle owner for electrical assets, manage modifications and Preventative Maintenance, provide electrical support to manufacturing equipment, manage electrical projects, and coordinate repairs during shutdowns.
• Collaborate with Engineering to review new projects for electrical needs, including design calculations, maintenance plans, and project commissioning activities.
• Coordinate electrical changes with the CAD team, reconcile changes in drawings, and approve final drawings in the drawing management system.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and good documentation practices to track work and facilitate data analysis.
• Support Maintenance Safety Culture and ensure tasks are performed safely.
• Work with Site Engineering to develop and manage Electrical Engineering Standards.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering required; 5+ years of experience.
• Technical experience in construction, predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of electrical distribution systems at a large industrial site.
• Experience with power distribution equipment including medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relays, generators, automatic transfer switches, UPS, low voltage switchgear, and industrial building distribution.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Ability to lead small projects as a project manager.
• Stakeholder and people management experience, cross-functional in a matrix organization.
