Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager
How you will contribute
- Lead and manage health & safety programs to protect employees, contractors, and the surrounding community
- Drive EHS management system effectiveness and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, including setting program goals and targets
- Oversee EHS audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance activities across the site
- Identify and mitigate risks by maintaining the site EHS risk registry and implementing effective controls
- Lead emergency preparedness and response with clear communication and documentation processes
- Champion continuous improvement of EHS performance through data monitoring, systems, training, and cross-functional support
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technical, or related EHS field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering)
- Minimum 5–10 years of EHS experience, preferably in a complex, high-risk environment
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred, or actively pursuing certification
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Proficiency in health and safety regulations (e.g., California Code of Regulations, Federal Code of Regulations, Department of Transportation, International Air Travel Association, California Environmental Protection Agency regulations, and local ordinances/laws)
- Ability to identify EHS non-compliance and recommend or implement solutions
