Corporate Functions
Essential Functions
- Support implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and site-level procedures, including identifying training needs and coordinating general industry safety training; assist with safety initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement.
- Support emergency response and contingency plans (fire prevention and spill response). Assist with incident/near-miss/injury investigations, document findings and contributing factors, and support communication of corrective actions under EHS leadership.
- Conduct and coordinate routine safety and environmental inspections at assigned warehouse locations; document results and support corrective action plan development, tracking, and closure.
- Support EHS reporting by collecting, documenting, and tracking incidents, inspection findings, corrective actions, and performance metrics; assist with internal/corporate/regulatory reporting and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate, organized, audit-ready EHS records (training, inspections, incidents, SDS) and support record retention.
- Coordinate with site operations, supervisors, and EHS team to support day-to-day safety compliance.

Qualifications
Education
- Associate Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, Applied Science, or related field (Required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Preferred).

Experience
- 1+ year professional experience supporting EHS programs in warehouse/distribution/manufacturing/general industry.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- OSHA and Kentucky KOSH General Industry standards.
- Warehouse safety knowledge (forklift safety, material handling/storage, hazard communication/SDS management).
- Environmental compliance concepts (hazardous waste, universal waste).
- Ability to learn/apply federal, state, and local EHS regulations; conduct inspections using checklists/procedures; document findings/corrective actions; maintain audit-ready records.
- Support EHS metrics reporting; interact professionally at all levels; deliver/support safety training/toolbox talks; manage multiple priorities; collect/validate reporting data.
- Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping (29 CFR 1904) and EHS management systems (e.g., Intelex or Cority) and/or applicable EPA regulations.
