ED, Portfolio Prioritization & Value Realization Lead

Role: Enterprise Transformation Portfolio Lead at Novartis, responsible for managing and prioritizing strategic transformation initiatives to maximize business impact and value realization. Core responsibilities include leading an integrated portfolio across priorities, capacity, risks, and dependencies; driving decision-making and optimizing resource allocation; establishing enterprise-wide value frameworks, and partnering with Finance and cross-functional leaders to validate business cases and benefits. The position involves overseeing AI use case governance, supporting executive transparency through metrics and scenario analyses, and fostering alignment across Strategy, Finance, Technology, and business units. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; 12+ years in portfolio management, enterprise PMO, or transformation roles, especially within pharma, biotech, healthcare, or consulting organizations; proven experience building governance structures, challenging business cases, and conducting scenario analysis; strong financial, analytical, and stakeholder influence skills. Preferred: Experience with transformation analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau), AI use-case triage, and Agile portfolio models; collaboration with finance, strategy, commercialization, and legal teams. The role is based at the East Hanover, NJ site with travel as defined by business needs. This high seniority position offers a salary range of $236,600–$439,400, plus performance incentives and comprehensive benefits.
