Role & Responsibilities
- East Area Sales Director (ASD) for the Solid Tumor franchise; drive sales results in a rare/competitive oncology market.
- Directly manages 5 Regional Directors (RDs); execute and implement sales strategies and performance.
- Maintain understanding of oncology market landscape (ALK+NSCLC, mCRC) and stay current on industry trends.
- Partner with Marketing, Patient Value & Access (PVA), Strategic Account Managers, Medical Affairs, and other sales franchises.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize growth.
- Supervise, train, and motivate RDs and Oncology Territory Managers.
- Represent sales at cross-functional Lung Integrated Brand Team meetings.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with RDs (people, performance, execution, and growth opportunities).
- Identify corporate strategic needs and influence programs to meet changing sales/customer needs.
- Partner with Head of Sales to develop sales plans, educational needs, and sales activities.
- Work with Brand Lead on sales tactics/strategies based on market/customer trends.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performance sales team; performance manage as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.
- 5+ years oncology sales management experience (front line and/or second line leadership preferred).
- Knowledge of healthcare laws/regulations.
- Proven oncology sales leadership across processes (targeting/segmentation, planning, objective setting, training, execution, performance management, reward/recognition).
- Strong leadership, creative problem-solving, team partnership, and presentation skills.
- Excellent oncology business acumen; strong relationships with community accounts and academic medical centers.
- Ability to assimilate complex oncology/competitive information; work independently and in teams.
- High science aptitude; growth mindset.
- Commercial, regulatory, and technical awareness.
- Valid US Driver’s License in good standing.

Preferred
- Experience with rare oncology disease states; marketing/market access/training exposure; national/area major oncology account experience.

Travel
- ~25–30% travel.
