Summary:
Early Intervention Account Manager (EIAM) is responsible for positioning and selling Zilretta to Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, and Primary Care offices. Collaborate with the Regional Business Director on business planning to exceed territory sales revenues.
Responsibilities:
- Identify target markets; exceed corporate revenue objectives in assigned geography.
- Collaborate with surgeons, sports medicine physicians, primary care providers, PAs/NPs, and pharmacy to drive Zilretta adoption for knee pain.
- Educate reimbursement strategies per compliance.
- Recruit customers to incorporate Surgeon Selector.
- Use CRM for account planning, forecasting, and data analysis; update account info.
- Maintain and apply expertise of Zilretta and account conversion processes.
- Develop and execute sales/retention and value proposition strategies (including C-suite engagement) to ensure long-term access.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings to close business and minimize obstacles.
- Manage territory with office visits; manage expense budgets.
- Interpret and present latest clinical data to healthcare professionals.
- Partner with EXPAREL Account Managers for synergistic opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (accredited).
- 3+ years direct selling to healthcare professional offices in pharma/biotech/device/health care.
Skills/Preferred:
- Excellent written/oral English; strong presentation.
- Credentialing capability.
- Account-based sales experience supporting orthopedic practices (strongly preferred).
- Reimbursement/specialty pharmacy/buy-and-bill knowledge (strongly preferred).
- Orthopedic/hyaluronic acid or related experience (strongly preferred).
- Strong communication, analytical, relationship-building; decision-maker mapping.
- Proficient in MS Office, mobile tech, and web apps; valid driverโs license.
- Travel extensively; live in designated territory; up to 90% overnight/local travel.
