Role Summary
- Field-based Dyne Care Partner (DCP) in the Patient Access and Education team supporting patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and infusion centers throughout the treatment journey.
- Provides education, reimbursement support, and care coordination to help patients initiate and maintain therapy; removes access barriers and supports continuity of care in accordance with Dyne policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards (non-promotional role).
Primary Responsibilities
- Patient & Caregiver Support: Primary point of contact; individualized education on disease/therapy expectations; proactive outreach; coordinate support services/resources; empathetic, patient-centered communication; educate on proper product storage/handling/administration.
- Reimbursement & Access Support: Educate on reimbursement processes; support prior authorizations/appeals/denials/reauthorizations/site-of-care requirements; identify challenges and escalate via approved channels; support continuity during insurance changes, site-of-care transitions, and reauthorization events.
- Provider & Infusion Center Engagement: Build/maintain provider and infusion partner relationships; educate on patient support services and reimbursement; support infusion center readiness (handling, storage, preparation, administration); reimbursement/access resource in assigned geography.
- Collaboration & Compliance: Partner with HUB services, specialty pharmacies, infusion providers, and internal stakeholders; maintain accurate documentation; ensure regulatory/privacy/company compliance; identify and report adverse events, product complaints, and privacy incidents.
Education & Skills Requirements
- Bachelorβs in nursing/social work/related field preferred; RN/social worker or equivalent preferred.
- 8+ years healthcare/related experience; 5+ years directly relevant (patient services, reimbursement, case management, field education, specialty pharmacy, or care coordination).
- Preferred: specialty/rare disease/infused or provider-administered therapy experience.
- Working knowledge of payer coverage/reimbursement/access (prior auths, appeals, denials).
- Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, and problem-solving; independent, adaptable; travel 50β80%; may work evenings/weekends/holidays.
MA Pay Range
- $190,000 - $225,000 USD
