Donor Center Technician
Medical Reception - Donor Center Technician role in a global healthcare context, focused on donor screening, patient interaction, and maintaining donor confidentiality within a plasma center environment.
Responsibilities
- Conducts pre-donation medical screening.
- Interact with and respond to customer needs.
- Assess donor suitability and engage in set-up.
- Provide feedback to ineligible donor candidates.
- Ensure all donor screening information is complete.
- Maintain donor confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Required: Superior customer service standards.
- Required: High School diploma or GED.
- Required: Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Required: Interest in making a difference in the world.
- Required: Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
Additional Requirements
- Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms in a plasma center.
- Exposure to electrical office and laboratory equipment.
- Exposure to extreme cold; use of personal protective equipment; standing or sitting for long periods; physical tasks including lifting.
