Role: Salesforce Ecosystem Domain Architect responsible for defining and governing the architecture standards and roadmap for all Salesforce platforms within AbbVie's Global Commercial Business Technology Services, overseeing approximately 32 applications post-migration. Responsibilities include advancing program objectives, resolving complex technical issues, managing architecture reviews, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement of Salesforce reference architectures. The role also owns strategic decisions such as platform design, cloud boundaries, and vendor relationships, and provides technical leadership across teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 9+ years of experience or equivalent; extensive experience in enterprise architecture with at least two Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud), with deep knowledge of Salesforce data models, security, and limits. Proven track record in Salesforce org strategy, release management, migration, and governance, preferably in regulated industries like healthcare or pharma. Preferred: Master’s or architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF); 10+ years of experience with 5+ years on Salesforce enterprise architecture; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or similar credentials; hands-on evaluation experience with Salesforce capabilities such as Agentforce or Data Cloud, and familiarity with Veeva CRM. High-Value: Focus on enterprise Salesforce architecture in a regulated pharma/healthcare context, including platform migration, multi-cloud strategy, and compliance considerations.
