District Sales Manager – Respiratory Biologics

Responsibilities:
- Track marketing messages and programs; provide feedback to district teams on marketing and resource allocation/leveraging (e.g., discretionary spend)
- Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve/exceed sales and budget targets
- Screen, interview, and hire candidates; ensure compliance with training
- Coach and counsel individuals; conduct annual/on-going performance reviews and competency assessments
- Communicate and coordinate with district and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, other business units)
- Share best practices; coordinate/participate in cluster teams; conduct district sales meetings
- Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives

Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree + 2 years Sales/Marketing experience
- OR Master’s + 6 years
- OR Bachelor’s + 8 years
- OR Associate’s + 10 years
- OR High school/GED + 12 years
- AND 2 years managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams/projects/programs or directing resource allocation

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years specialty sales; experience in biologics; buy-and-bill model experience
- Ability to use coaching to improve behaviors; leverage market/customer knowledge strategically
- Knowledge of local payor coverage; ability to understand/communicate clinical concepts and use clinical info to address objections
- Ability to recruit candidates meeting minimum criteria; strong responsibility/self-discipline; set short/long-term objectives and collaborate effectively
