Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Southeast district includes key markets in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
- Develop, enhance and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps and create improvement plans; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness measures (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports; drive professional development and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies and maintain high ethical standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison for issue identification/resolution.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster solution-oriented vision and balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience preferred.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record; ability to drive Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading and writing).

Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
