Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geography and implement the district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond professionally; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular, candid, timely feedback to district sales reps; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Conduct all business in compliance with company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; promote open communication; share best practices across the district; serve as liaison with home office to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team environment; eliminate barriers; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade and follow Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Salary Range:
- $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
