Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Central district markets in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; implement the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create action plans; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team/sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds, systems, and tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development; ensure accountability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies/procedures and maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; foster open communication; share best practices; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing, development-focused team environment; eliminate barriers and drive immediate results with long-term strategy.
- Exercise fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; cascade and follow Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare district manager experience (medical devices or other healthcare products sales preferred).
- Travel 60–70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Salary Range:
- $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, location).
