District Manager, Pain - Virginia-Tennessee

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Virginia–Tennessee district sales strategy, including driving district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives.
- Develop and execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geographic area.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews.
- Monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance issues early and develop plans to close gaps.
- Analyze team/sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports; support professional development and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with the Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; liaison with home office to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Travel 60–70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record; ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience (medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience preferred).
